Recommended Combing Therapy Routine 

Using the scalp set is simple and relaxing, but it helps to know a few pointers before you start. Follow these tips and directions to make the most of your combing therapy experience! 


PREP

  1. Start with clean, damp hair when possible.
  2. Part your hair down the middle, then add 1-2 pumps of Scalp Essence along the part.
  3. Gently massage essence into the entire scalp to activate. 

COMB

  1. Glide the gua sha comb through your hair while applying light pressure to the scalp.

  2. Move in slow strokes from the crown of your head to the nape of your neck, covering the entire scalp. Strokes may be long or short depending on what’s most comfortable for your unique head shape. Make at least 3-5 passes over each section of your scalp.

  3. Flip your hair over and repeat the process back to front. 

 

PROTECT 

  1. Finish your combing therapy session by making one last smoothing pass through your hair however feels best to you.

  2. For the best results, apply the Protect + Nourish Serum to hair after combing. This further hydrates dry or damaged hair to protect from heat, environmental stressors, and damage.
